A Minecraft Journey Chapter 2: A new mob

I opened my chest and took out some string and sticks. I needed more weapons... I placed the sticks and string on my crafting table, soon I had a bow. I looted arrows from skeletons in my previous battles. Hopefully this bow will aid me in my survival. I clenched my stomach, I was getting peckish, so once again I opened my chest and pulled out 4 cooked steaks and ate them with no hesitation. I was nourished and ready to face the day ahead. I exited my house and start to walk down the gravel path. This would take me to the village if my memory serves correctly. In a short amount of time I arrived at the village. The residents didnt pause to see who the new comer was, not even a glance, they just continued to scuffle around mingleing with other villagers. I approached one carefully, trying to pick the correct words to adress this particuallar NPC, "Hello there" I said in an even tone, "Would you happen to own any items that would aid me in my quest?" I didnt actually have a quest, no, but I wanted to sound like a kind, proper buisnessman. "Yes in a matter a fact I do" the villager replied, he seemed bothered about something, maybe it was me? "What would you like?" he added. I looked at him with curious eyes, he obviously knew I was wondering what an earth he was so bothered about. "Whats available?" I asked in a more quieter tone, "Anything you like" he murmered, "We have just about anything" the villager looked down at the ground. Now for sure I knew he was distressed. I picked my next words carefully, "Um I don't mean to pry but is something troubling you?" I try to look at him with sympethic eyes, I really was concerned for this particular villager. "There has been something strange going on." the villager whispered, "Something unkown has been intruding the village, none of us know what THEY are" he sounded terrified from what I could tell from his tone. "They?" I echoed, "What do you mean they?" I tilted my head in wonder. I have never came across any new monsters, unless.... "Do you know what they look like?" I asked determined to help this village now, "They are tall and thin, and from what we can tell, their eyes burn with purple light." he shook he head then grabed my arm, "Please" he said, his voice shakeing violently, "You have to help us." I noded, "I will."
